How to get to Palaiseau

 

If you come by public transport  : 

1st step : get to Massy-Palaiseau :

Important Note: RER B Disruption

From July 15 to August 27, 2025 (inclusive), RER B is completely suspended between La Croix de Berny and Massy–Palaiseau, for all hours and both directions. This means any journey using RER B on Monday, August 25 and Tuesday, August 26, will require alternatives for that section.

A replacement bus will take you from La Croix de Berny to Massy Palaiseau. Please ask agent on the station for this bus.

During this peridod we encourage you to take REC C instead of RER B to reach Massy-Palaiseau 

When you take RER, there are several directions on the same platform, so please check the display board carefully)
For RER C : Take the direction Massy Palaiseau
For RER B : Take the direction Croix de Berny

By plane

Charles de Gaulle (CDG)

  • 1 - RER B heading towards La Croix de Berny and ride to terminus
  • 2 - Replacement bus to Massy-Palaiseau 

Orly (ORY)

Direct line to the campus bus 5154 towards Saint Quentin en Yvelines, stop Palaiseau Campus. Only one bus/hour

OR : 

1 - Metro 14 heading towards Saint-Denis-Pleyel and ride to Thiais - Orly
2 - RER C from Gare de Pont de Rungis towards Massy Palaiseau and ride to teminus

By Train

1 - RER B from Gare du Nord towards La Croix de Berny and ride to terminus
2 - Replacement bus to Massy-Palaiseau

1- Metro 4 headings towards Porte de Clignancourt and ride to Saint-Michel

from Saint-Michel Notre-Dame towards Massy Palaiseau and ride to teminus

1- Metro 14 heading towards Aeroport d'Orly and ride to Bibliothèque François Mitterand
2 - RER C

Gare de l'Est

1- Metro 5 headings towards Place d'Italie and ride to Gare d'Austerlitz

2nd step : get to the campus from Massy Palaiseau Station :

Take the following bus:

Bus 91.06 (-> Orsay Gare du Guichet/ Christ de Saclay)
Palaiseau - Campus’ Stop

The bus 91.06 is in Massy Atlantis gare routière Ilot B (see photos bellow)

If you come by car : 

Important Note: closure of road N118

The RN118 national road will be closed to traffic in both directions in the town of Orsay from 10 a.m. on 25 August to 5 a.m. on 29 August, this may affect your itinerary.

From  Paris Porte de Saint Cloud

Take the N118, then two options:

Take Exit 8 ‘Jouy en Josas Saclay’
At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the D36
Continue towards ‘Palaiseau’
Turn right onto boulevard O, then boulevard Gaspard Monge/Madeleine Pelletier
Turn left at the entrance to the AgroParisTech car park

Or

Take exit 9 ‘Centre Universitaire’
Take the bridge over the N118 and cross
Continue on the D128

From Paris Porte d'Orléans or Porte d'Italie

Take the A6A (or A6B) towards Lyon
Continue on the A10 towards ‘Nantes/Bordeaux’
Exit on the left towards ‘D444/Versailles/Igny/Bièvres’
Continue on the D36
Turn left onto D128 towards ‘EDF LAB/Mines Telecom/AgroParisTech’
Turn right onto rue Gaspard Monge then cours Pierre Vasseur
